Membership Eligibility
A member of the association must be:
- A person who is bilingual trainer or a trained bilingual adult educator currently running programs or workshops in the community.
- Or who is a childcare worker for children whose mothers are attending programs/workshops/training courses/events.
- A person who fits the above criteria and whose work covers area of adult education such as: health, fitness, housing, law, aged care, environment, etc.
- A person who has been nominated by a member for membership of the association.
- A person who has been approved for membership of the association by the committee of the association.
- A person who is a resident of New South Wales (NSW).
Membership Benefits
Membership benefits include:
- A full member will be covered for a professional indemnity insurance
- Enhancement of members skills through development of new projects that has government and nonâgovernment funding
- Access to various training courses for members
- Lobbying on behalf of members
- Lobbying for specific projects
- Access to information, resources and networks
- The right to vote at general meetings and/ or run for election for the management committee
